RIYADH: Saudi Arabia will host the second annual AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies on Feb. 8–9, bringing together finance ministers, central bank governors, policymakers and international experts to discuss global economic challenges and inclusive growth.
Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Finance in partnership with the International Monetary Fund, the conference will focus on policy reforms to strengthen economic resilience amid rapid global change. Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan said the event reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to global economic stability and highlights the growing role of emerging economies in driving worldwide growth.
IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said the conference would provide a vital platform for emerging economies to navigate uncertainty stemming from technological change, demographic shifts and geopolitical tensions.
