DUBAI/LOS ANGELES: The Grammy Awards red carpet once again served as a platform for bold fashion statements, with artists embracing risk-taking looks and drawing inspiration from past style icons.
At Sunday night’s ceremony in Los Angeles, British girl group Flo, first-time Grammy nominees, paid tribute to Destiny’s Child by wearing coordinated outfits on the red carpet. Members Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer appeared in matching beaded black and royal blue ensembles, echoing Destiny’s Child’s iconic coordinated green lace looks worn at the 2001 Grammy Awards.
Former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams also made an appearance, wearing a black sheer gown adorned with gold leaf embellishments and a black satin train by Lebanese designer Jean-Louis Sabaji.
Williams’ look was among the limited Arab designer creations featured on the Grammys red carpet this year, as several stars instead showcased Middle Eastern designs during pre-Grammy events.
At the Pre-Grammy Gala on Saturday night, Dove Cameron wore a pale blue gown by Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika, selected from his Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
